io.github.bluegemskPublished by GitHub account bluegemskv0.1.1Updated Oct 29, 2026
Offline Oracle AWR/ASH report analyzer with DBA tuning advice and a top-3 tuning summary.
Overview
Offline MCP server that reads Oracle AWR/ASH reports and returns wait events, top SQL and prioritized DBA tuning advice.
- What you can do
- Parse a supplied AWR or ASH report (HTML or text, Oracle 10g–23ai, single instance or RAC global) and identify report type and database version
- Summarize average active sessions, load profile, top wait events and top SQL
- Attach short, version-aware DBA tuning advice to each finding
- Produce a prioritized top-3 tuning summary of what to fix first
- When to use it
- Useful when you have Oracle AWR or ASH report files and want an assistant to interpret them and suggest where to start tuning, without connecting to the database or sending reports off the machine.
- Requirements
- Local Python package installed with pip (oracle-mcp-lite), run as a stdio MCP server. No Oracle client, database connection, account, API key or environment variable is needed; the report file must be accessible on the local machine.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Oracle Mcp Lite in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
