Prior

Spend gate agents call before money moves. Buy with Stripe Checkout. Paid only when Stripe says so.
Overview
A remote spend-gate server that lets an assistant check whether a purchase is allowed, start a Stripe Checkout, and confirm payment.
- What it does
- Prior exposes three tools: decide, buy, and confirm_payment. It acts as a spend gate other agents call before money moves, applying published rules such as denying anything over $100. A purchase is a Stripe Checkout session, and the charge is only collected after Stripe reports that session as paid.
- When to use it
- Use it when an assistant needs a policy check before spending and a way to run a Stripe Checkout on the user's behalf. It fits agent workflows where a fixed, published spending rule should be enforced without a human approval step.
- Requirements
- A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variable, or header is declared. It needs network access and a Stripe account attached to the deployment, since payments land there.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Prior in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
