Overview

AI-generated overview

SnapClap MCP turns accessible social video links into private local PDFs with a visual overview and navigable frame pages, run as a local process.

What you can do
  • Create a SnapClap job from an accessible video link, producing a private local PDF with a visual overview and frame pages
  • Check the status of a local SnapClap job and get the URLs of completed artifacts
  • Read metadata and frames from a completed job without reprocessing the video
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to convert public social video links into a local, navigable PDF reference you can browse frame by frame, for example to capture or review short videos.
Requirements
Runs as a local process on the user's machine via the npm package @calnflow/snapclap-mcp over stdio; desktop only, not available as a web executable. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
It processes video links and writes PDF artifacts to your machine, so check where files are stored and that you have the right to use the source videos. No credentials are declared, but the tool sends the supplied video link to SnapClap's processing service.
