Requirements
Runs locally as an npm package over stdio, so Node.js is needed. Requires a Sentinel Bot API key supplied in the SENTINEL_API_KEY environment variable. Optionally set SENTINEL_API_URL to change the API base URL; the default points to the provider's hosted endpoint. Network access to that endpoint is required.
Before you install
The API key is a secret credential and grants access to your Sentinel Bot account; keep it out of logs and shared configs. Deploying bots and managing the account can change live trading behavior and may involve real funds, so review actions before approving them. Requests, including strategy and account data, are sent to the provider's API endpoint.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Sentinel in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
