Clean finds your next customers: ICP, researched leads, replies and sequences, from any agent.
The publisher's own server: Clean
Overview
Clean is a hosted MCP server that lets an assistant research B2B leads against your ideal customer profile, read results, and draft outreach sequences.
- What you can do
- Run lead research: start a research run, answer its questions, follow progress and cancel it
- Read results: qualified leads from a run, earlier conversations and saved leads
- Work with ICPs: list ideal customer profiles and add background context for Clean to use
- Search your synced LinkedIn first-degree connections
- Organize saved leads into lists
- Read and draft outreach sequences without sending messages
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to find and qualify B2B prospects matching your ICP, review past research, or prepare outreach drafts from inside your agent or IDE.
- Requirements
- A Clean account and a remote Streamable HTTP endpoint. Authentication is OAuth 2.1 sign-in with Clean, where you pick a workspace and grant read-only or full access; clients without OAuth need a workspace API key sent as an Authorization Bearer header, kept in an environment variable such as CLEAN_API_KEY.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Clean in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.cleanmcp%2Fclean/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Clean
Clean finds and researches B2B leads that match your ideal customer profile. This repo holds Clean's listing manifests for every agent marketplace (see the table below), so any agent can run that research and work with the results.
The plugin contains no server code. It only points at https://app.tryclean.ai/v1/mcp, which Clean hosts.
Layout: plugin.json at the repo root is the portable Agent Plugins manifest, .cursor-plugin/plugin.json is the Cursor Plugin manifest (adds the logo and marketplace metadata), .claude-plugin/ is the Claude Code plugin + marketplace, .agents/plugins/marketplace.json is the Codex marketplace, openai/ is the ChatGPT plugin package, server.json is the MCP Registry entry and mcp.json holds the MCP server definition. The MCP server name is clean.

Any other MCP client: add a remote (Streamable HTTP) MCP server:
You need a Clean account. Start at tryclean.ai.
Auth is OAuth 2.1 ("Sign in with Clean"): on first use the client opens a browser, you sign in to Clean, pick a workspace and allow access (read-only or full). There is no key to paste and nothing is stored in this repo.
If your client cannot do OAuth, create a workspace API key in Clean under Settings → API & MCP and send it as a header. Keep the key in an environment variable, never in a file you commit:
Revoke a connected app or key at any time in Settings → API & MCP.
What the agent can do
The hosted server is the source of truth for tool names and schemas. To check the connection, ask your agent to "list my Clean ICPs".
