Covalt Execution Gateway
io.github.covaltpayv1.0.0Updated Oct 4, 2026
Trusted execution infrastructure for AI agents. Proposal-only protocol with human consent.
Overview
A remote MCP endpoint for CovaltPay's proposal-only payment orchestration, where agents propose actions that require human consent.
- What it does
- The Covalt Execution Gateway is a remote, streamable HTTP MCP endpoint for CovaltPay, a payment orchestration platform for coordinated payments between multiple parties. Its documented concepts include pacts (structured agreements with roles, rules and conditions), milestones that gate payment release, escrow logic controlled by rules rather than individuals, and verification layers that may be human, automated or agent-assisted. The registry description calls it a proposal-only protocol with human consent, and the README states the platform is under active development with core orchestration concepts live.
- When to use it
- Consider it when an assistant needs to participate in multi-party payment flows where parties may not know each other, funds are material, and failure or non-delivery is costly. It is aimed at rule-based, milestone-driven arrangements rather than simple transfers. Because the project is under active development, evaluate it as an early-stage integration.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint at the provider's Supabase-hosted URL; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The manifest declares no authentication, and the README points to a paid early-access and licensing page for access, demos or agent licensing.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Covalt Execution Gateway in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

# CovaltPay
CovaltPay
CovaltPay is a trust-first payment orchestration platform for coordinated payments between multiple parties.
It enables rule-based, milestone-driven payment flows where trust is enforced by structure — not relationships.

Status
CovaltPay is under active development.
Core payment orchestration concepts are live. Internal intelligence agents (Sonar and Guard Dog) are operational and available independently.

Why CovaltPay exists
Most group payments assume trust. CovaltPay is designed for scenarios where:
- Parties may not know each other
- Funds are material
- Failure or non-delivery is costly
- Accountability matters
Instead of “send and hope”, CovaltPay introduces enforceable rules.
Core concepts
- Pacts – structured agreements defining roles, rules, and conditions
- Milestones – objective checkpoints that gate payment release
- Escrow logic – funds are controlled by rules, not individuals
- Verification layers – human, automated, or agent-assisted
Intelligence & risk layer
CovaltPay is supported by internal intelligence agents:
- Sonar – detects emerging risk, regulation, and opportunity signals
- Guard Dog – flags fraud patterns, delivery risk, and rule breaches
These agents operate independently and can be deployed without CovaltPay.
Status
This repository documents architecture, concepts, and integration patterns. Core components are under active development.
