Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server exposing the cc0pedia CC0 database, CC0 image generators and web/domain intel tools, paid per call in USDC over x402 on Base.

What you can do
  • Look up, search, verify and price CC0 creators, collections, works and contracts, with provenance, license and on-chain pointers
  • Generate public-domain images in Monet, Van Gogh, Hokusai, sartoshi and Darkfarms styles, plus mferGPT image, chat and lore services
  • Fetch a daily digest of top CC0 NFT collections with market metrics and narrative
  • Run web and domain intel checks: DNS, TLS, HTTP security headers, email deliverability, domain age, IP geolocation, URL-to-text
  • Check data quality: text acceptance gates, JSON quality inspection and schema drift checks
  • Pull live fiat FX rates and crypto spot prices
When to use it
Use it when an agent needs CC0 licensing and provenance facts, CC0-safe generated artwork, or quick domain, DNS, header and data-quality checks, and you are willing to pay small per-call USDC fees instead of using an account or API key.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no account or API key to connect. Every tool call is a paid x402 request in USDC on Base mainnet, so an x402-enabled client that can sign an EIP-3009 USDC authorization and a funded wallet are needed. Discovery calls (initialize, tools/list, ping) are free.
Before you install
Each tool call costs USDC (roughly $0.01 to $0.07 per call, plus print orders paid in USDC), so an agent can spend real money; set spending limits. The client must hold a wallet key to sign payment authorizations. Some tools are third-party services re-brokered with a commission. Image generation is asynchronous and must be polled. Tools are discovered live and the catalog can change.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Cc0company Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.cryptomfer%2Fcc0company-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

cc0company MCP

The largest machine-readable CC0 database (cc0pedia) + the whole cc0.company agent-services catalog, as a remote Model Context Protocol server. Pay-per-call over x402 (USDC on Base).

Endpoint: https://cc0.company/api/mcp — Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0.

What it is

A remote MCP server that turns cc0.company's managed agent services into tools any AI agent can call:

  • cc0pedia read API — look up / search / verify / price any CC0 creator, NFT collection, token or work. Provenance, license, on-chain pointers (contracts, chains, OpenSea slugs) and live market data over the largest structured CC0 database.
  • CC0 image generation — fine-tuned models whose output is public domain.
  • Market data — a daily digest of the top CC0 NFT collections.
  • Third-party agents — re-brokered over x402 (e.g. mfergpt).

Tools are discovered live from the catalog (tools/list), so the set grows over time without changing your client.

Why agents pay

cc0pedia is a public good; serving it to autonomous agents at scale is not. Every tool call is a tiny x402 micropayment — the agentic economy in one request: an agent verifies a CC0 license, pulls provenance + market data, and pays for exactly what it used, with no account and no API key.

Connect

Any MCP client — Streamable HTTP transport, the URL above. No auth to connect.

Payment — x402

Every tools/call is a paid x402 request. Free: initialize, tools/list, ping.

Flow: the first call returns HTTP 402 with the challenge in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header. Your x402 client signs an EIP-3009 USDC authorization and retries with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header; the facilitator verifies + settles and the tool runs. Use an x402-enabled client (wrap your MCP transport's fetch with x402). Pay only for what you use: a call that resolves nothing returns a 4xx and the charge is cancelled — you are never billed for an empty answer.

See examples/ for a working free-discovery script and an end-to-end paid call.
