Overview

AI-generated overview

MCP server for the dfmi x402 agent market: browse services, get quotes, claim free dUSD points and make capped purchases.

What you can do
  • Browse and rank market services with price, score and buyer counts
  • Request a price quote from any x402 endpoint without signing
  • Inspect the buyer wallet address, dUSD balance and remaining limits
  • Create a throwaway buyer wallet and claim free dUSD from the faucet
  • Buy a service: pay via signed authorization, retry, and receive goods plus a settlement receipt
When to use it
Useful when an assistant should discover and pay for services on the dfmi x402 agent market, for example finding a report, checking its price and buying it within fixed spend limits.
Requirements
Runs locally over stdio via npx (Node.js). Optional DFMI_BUYER_PRIVATE_KEY to supply your own throwaway key; otherwise a wallet is created in ~/.dfmi. Spend caps come from DFMI_MAX_PRICE, DFMI_SESSION_BUDGET and DFMI_ALLOW_MAINNET. Network access to the market and x402 endpoints is needed.
Before you install
Purchases spend funds and are irreversible; dUSD is a points unit with no monetary value that cannot be refunded or cashed out. DFMI_ALLOW_MAINNET enables mainnet payments, which are off by default. The server handles a buyer private key, so use a throwaway wallet only. Spend limits are enforced in code but the model can lower, not raise, the per-call cap.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open dfmi x402 market in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Other MCP clients

Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

Score

50% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
