Overview

AI-generated overview

Serves daily New York City construction sales leads from NYC DOB NOW job filings and approved permits, scored and filterable by borough, type and cost.

What you can do
  • Retrieve construction leads from DOB NOW job filings and approved permits
  • Filter by source, date window, borough, job type, work type and minimum estimated cost
  • Cap the number of records returned per request
  • Get scored leads with address, BBL/BIN, cost estimate, business names, licence numbers and coordinates
When to use it
Useful for sales and business development teams targeting NYC construction work — general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, MEP and solar firms, expediters, insurers, lenders and commercial real-estate teams — who want early signals on new filings and issued permits.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at mcp.apify.com with OAuth sign-in required. Runs on the Apify platform and is billed per lead returned, so an Apify account with usable credit is needed. Network access is required.
Before you install
Pay-per-event pricing of $0.005 per lead returned; use maxItems to cap spending. Leads are business information only, with individual names, phones and emails removed, but outreach must still comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA and similar laws. Data comes from NYC Open Data, may lag or be inaccurate, and should be verified with DOB; it is not legal, financial or real-estate advice.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.domaranskyi%2Fnyc-construction-property-leads/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

NYC Construction & Property Leads

Daily construction sales leads for New York City from official NYC Open Data (Department of Buildings, DOB NOW):

  • DOB NOW job filings – the earliest signal: new buildings, alterations and demolitions as soon as they are filed, often weeks before a permit is issued and before trades are locked in. Flagged early_stage: true while still in review.
  • DOB NOW approved permits – issued work permits by trade (general construction, plumbing, mechanical, structural, solar, sprinklers, scaffolds, sidewalk sheds…).

Each lead includes: source, filing/permit number, status, early-stage flag, filing/issue date, borough, address, ZIP, BBL & BIN, job type / work type, work description, estimated job cost, owner business name, applicant / contractor business name and licence number, coordinates, and a simple lead score (0–100: cost + recency + early stage). Results are sorted by score.

Great for GCs and subcontractors, building-material suppliers, MEP/solar/HVAC firms, expediters, insurers, lenders, architects and commercial real-estate teams.

Pricing

Pay-per-event: $0.005 per lead (record returned). Use maxItems to cap cost – 200 leads = $1.
