Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server that lets an assistant turn HTML or a URL into a PDF document, using Playwright under the hood.

What you can do
  • Convert HTML content into a PDF document
  • Convert a web URL into a PDF document
  • Render pages through Playwright, so browser-based layout is applied during conversion
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to produce PDF files from a page you are working on or from a live web address, for example saving a report, invoice or article as a document.
Requirements
Runs as a local process on the user's machine via npx from the npm package pdfspark-mcp; Node.js and the package's Playwright browser dependency are needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. Desktop only; not available as a web executable.
Before you install
URL conversion means the server fetches remote pages, so the target address is passed to that site and to Playwright's browser. Generated PDFs are written locally; check where files land before running it unattended. No credentials are requested.

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
