Connect AI assistants to live Google Search Console and Analytics data through RefreshAgent.
Overview
AI-generated overview
Lets an assistant read live Google Search Console and Google Analytics data through the RefreshAgent service.
- What it does
- RefreshAgent connects an AI assistant to live Google Search Console and Google Analytics data, so the assistant can pull search and analytics figures into a conversation instead of relying on exported reports. The manifest lists no individual tools, so the exact operations are not documented here. It runs as a local stdio process started on the user's machine.
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about site search performance or web analytics using current Google data, for example reviewing queries, traffic or engagement without manually exporting reports.
- Requirements
- A local runtime able to run the npm package @refreshagent/mcp over stdio, plus a RefreshAgent API key supplied in the REFRESHAGENT_API_KEY environment variable. The key is obtained from the RefreshAgent web app. Network access is needed to reach RefreshAgent and Google data. Desktop only; no web executable.
Before you install
The server requires the secret REFRESHAGENT_API_KEY, which grants access to your Google Search Console and Analytics data through RefreshAgent; store it carefully and avoid sharing it. Your analytics data is retrieved via the third-party RefreshAgent service, so that provider sees the queries made on your behalf. The manifest declares no authentication beyond this key and lists no tools, so review what the package actually does before installing.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Refreshagent in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
