Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote shopping advisor that lets an assistant find ranked US store options for a product and check its daily price history.

What you can do
  • Find ranked buying options for a product, with store, price, shipping, when the price was checked, ranking reasons and a buy link
  • Check a product's daily price history across stores, including today's lowest price, the recent range and whether today's price is actually low
When to use it
When the user wants to buy something, compare prices across US stores, or judge whether a current price is genuinely good rather than a store's advertised discount.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint at bidxon.com over streamable HTTP; no authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. Coverage is limited to products sold online in the US, and some categories may not be compared yet.
Before you install
Some store links are affiliate links, so the service may earn a commission; the server asks that this be disclosed when sharing buy links. Prices are USD from approved stores, checked several times a day, and can change at the store, so the store and checked time should be shown. If a category is not covered, prices should not be guessed.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Bidxon — ad-free AI shopping agent in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.eduardorom%2Fbidxon/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

find_best_options

Find the best options to buy

Find the best real options to buy a product, ranked only by what is best for the buyer (never by who pays). Returns store, price, shipping, when the price was checked, why each option ranks where it does, and a buy link. Works for any product sold online in the US; stores are added in more categories every week (today: fragrance and beauty). If a category is not compared yet, it says so instead of guessing.

price_history

Price history of a product

Daily price history of a specific product across stores: today's lowest price, the range in recent days, and whether today's price is low compared with what it actually cost before (not with a store's 'was' price).

83% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
