Overview

AI-generated overview

LogsLoom lets an assistant send log events to a LogsLoom project and search, filter and fetch the logs stored there.

What you can do
Send single log events or batches of up to 100 events to a LogsLoom project's log stream, with level and message fields for single events or an events array for batches. List and search a project's logs, filtering by message text, level, service, limit and offset. Fetch a single log by its id, falling back to searching the latest list page when the direct lookup path is unavailable. Check connectivity and see which project the current API key is scoped to.
When to use it
Useful when a coding agent should write its own diagnostics or application events into LogsLoom, or look up recent logs for the project tied to its API key while debugging.
Requirements
Either the hosted remote endpoint with a bearer Authorization header, or the local npm package run over stdio. Both need a LogsLoom project API key, supplied as LOGSLOOM_API_KEY for stdio or as the bearer token for the remote endpoint. LOGSLOOM_API_URL optionally sets the HTTP API origin. Network access to LogsLoom is required.
Before you install
The API key is a project credential and grants access to that project's logs; keep it out of shared configuration. Ingesting writes events into the project's log stream, and searches expose whatever logs that project holds. The hosted process has no default key, so you must supply your own.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open LogsLoom in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.efim23%2Flogsloom/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

logs_ingest

Ingest logs

Send one or many log events to LogsLoom (POST /v1/logs). Provide a single event via level+message, or a batch in `events` (max 100).

Parametersleveleventsmessageservicemetadatatimestampenvironment

logs_get

Get a log by id

Fetch one log by id. The HTTP API has no GET /v1/logs/:id yet, so this tries that path and falls back to searching the latest list page.

Parametersidrequired

logs_projects_list

Current project scope

There is no user-session projects API. Returns the project scope implied by the current API key (connectivity check via GET /v1/logs).

Takes no parameters.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
