Google Trends Scraper
io.github.fernandoguiraud16-coderv1.0.0Updated Oct 6, 2026
Google Trends interest over time and by region, rising queries and trending searches.
Overview
Lets an assistant pull Google Trends data — interest over time, interest by region, rising queries, and current trending searches.
- What it does
- This remote MCP server exposes a Google Trends scraper as a tool for AI assistants. It returns search-interest data over time, interest broken down by region, rising queries, and currently trending searches, so an assistant can compare terms or surface what is spiking. It is part of a family of Apify data tools that output clean JSON, Markdown, CSV or Excel.
- When to use it
- Use it when you want an assistant to check search demand for terms, compare topics over time or by geography, or find rising and trending searches for research, content planning or market checks.
- Requirements
- Runs as a remote endpoint at mcp.apify.com; nothing is installed locally. It is backed by Apify Actors, which are pay-per-result, so an Apify account and API token are needed for the underlying runs. Network access is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Google Trends Scraper in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Pricing
All Actors are pay per result: you pay a fraction of a cent per item (term, article, ad, document, domain, video or audio minute), and failed or empty items are not charged. Apify's free plan includes monthly credits, enough to try every example. Exact prices are on each Actor's page.
Support
Found a bug or need a feature? Open an issue on the Actor's page in the Apify Store (replies within 48 hours), or an issue in this repository for problems with the examples.
