Tech Stack Detector & WHOIS, SSL Checker
io.github.fernandoguiraud16-coderv1.0.0Updated Oct 6, 2026
Tech stack, WHOIS, DNS, SSL, hosting and SEO checks for lists of domains.
Overview
Lets an assistant run bulk website checks on lists of domains: tech stack, WHOIS, DNS, SSL, hosting and SEO data.
- What it does
- This remote MCP server exposes Apify Actors that enrich lists of domains with technical and registration data. It reports the CMS, email provider, hosting, domain age and security grade for each domain, and supports related lookups such as bulk WHOIS for available or soon-to-expire domains. Results come back as structured data suitable for spreadsheets or further processing.
- When to use it
- Use it when you need to profile or qualify many company domains at once, for example competitor research, lead enrichment, or checking the age and security posture of a domain portfolio. It is less useful for one-off lookups of a single site.
- Requirements
- A remote endpoint at mcp.apify.com; no local runtime or package is needed. An Apify account and an API token are required, supplied as the APIFY_TOKEN environment variable in the documented examples. Network access to Apify services is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Tech Stack Detector & WHOIS, SSL Checker in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Pricing
All Actors are pay per result: you pay a fraction of a cent per item (term, article, ad, document, domain, video or audio minute), and failed or empty items are not charged. Apify's free plan includes monthly credits, enough to try every example. Exact prices are on each Actor's page.
Support
Found a bug or need a feature? Open an issue on the Actor's page in the Apify Store (replies within 48 hours), or an issue in this repository for problems with the examples.
