Flowpack is a remote MCP server for a Shopify design catalog: browse button, cart, badge and pill looks, plan theme changes, and diagnose issues.
What you can do
Browse the catalog by domain (kits, presets, palettes, seasonal, settings, decorations, effects, diagnostics, anatomy, compatibility) with facet filters and free-text queries.
Turn merchant intent into a structured plan of settings to change across the Button, Cart, Badge, Variant and Frosty Pill kits.
Explain a plan or a single setting path in merchant, developer or reviewer language, brief or deep.
Get goal-oriented recommendations such as four diverse plans, a preset for a brand, a palette for a theme, or touch targets for devices.
Run a runtime, theme and settings harmony check from a symptom or a kit scope, with categorized issues and severity.
When to use it
Useful when working on a Shopify storefront's visual design and wanting an assistant to propose, explain or troubleshoot Flowpack kit settings rather than hand-pick them. Suited to merchants and developers comparing presets, palettes and seasonal looks, or diagnosing cart, badge and accessibility problems.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package install. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. The catalog and plans concern Flowpack's Shopify kits, so a store using them is implied.
Before you install
The diagnose tool mentions a fix plan callable via execute(), suggesting changes can be applied to a store; confirm what any execution step modifies before running it. Plans and recommendations are advisory and should be reviewed against the live theme.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.flowpackplugin%2Fflowpack/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Universal catalog reader. Routes by domain ('kits', 'presets', 'palettes', 'seasonal', 'settings', 'decorations', 'effects', 'diagnostics', 'anatomy', 'compatibility') with optional facet filter (e.g., 'button.hover') and free-text query. Returns paged items with id/name/description and metadata-only marker. Use this for ANY merchant question about 'what options are available' or 'show me X'.

plan
MASTER KEY tool. Analyzes natural-language merchant intent ('make my buttons feel premium', 'wellness brand vibe', 'BFCM aggressive') and returns a structured plan of settings to change across Flowpack's Button + Cart + Badge + Variant + Frosty Pill kits. Handles single tweaks (one hover style) and full overhauls (50+ settings) with the same call. Returns opaque plan_id, change count, preview URL, and reasoning. ALWAYS call preview() before execute().
Parametersintentrequiredcontext
explain
Natural-language explanation of a plan_id (what it does) or setting_path (what one setting controls). Audience: merchant (default), developer, or reviewer. Detail: brief (1-2 sentences) or deep (full context + related settings + a11y notes). Use when merchant asks 'what does this do' or 'why this preset'.

recommend
Goal-oriented recommendation engine. Scenarios: 'personalized_4_plans' (returns 4 diverse plans — safe / aspirational / seasonal / conversion-tested), 'preset_for_brand', 'color_palette_for_theme', 'touch_target_for_devices', 'motion_density_for_audience', 'seasonal_for_calendar', 'diagnostics_first_check'. Use for proactive suggestions when merchant intent is unclear.

diagnose
Runtime + theme + settings harmony check. Free-text symptom (e.g., 'cart drawer feels slow', 'badges not appearing') OR kit-scoped check. Returns categorized issues (theme_compat / settings_conflict / runtime_error / a11y / performance) with severity and optional fix_plan_id callable via execute(). health_score 0-100.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
