Midwest Legal Docs
io.github.grazy88v1.0.0Updated Oct 10, 2026
Legal-form catalog, search, and checkout for AI agents. Document prep only; not a law firm.
Overview
Lets an assistant browse a legal-form catalog, search forms by keyword, state or category, start Stripe checkout sessions, and check order status.
- What it does
- This remote MCP server wraps the Midwest Legal Docs agent API. It exposes tools to list all form products with id, title and price, search the catalog by keyword, state or category, create a Stripe checkout session, and look up an order or checkout session status. It is a document-preparation catalog only and is not a law firm.
- When to use it
- Use it when an assistant needs to help someone find and purchase legal form documents, for example searching for a state-specific form or starting a checkout. It is not a source of legal advice.
- Requirements
- The hosted endpoint needs no local runtime. Running it yourself requires Node.js, an MLD_AGENT_API_KEY environment variable, and optionally PORT and ALLOWED_HOSTS. The checkout tool requires an API key.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Midwest Legal Docs in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
