Requirements
Runs locally via npx (Node.js). Needs two free API keys set as environment variables: DATA_GO_KR_KEY (decoded data.go.kr key, used by the business, holiday and apartment tools) and JUSO_KEY (road-name address API key). Each data.go.kr service must be approved for the account.
Before you install
Both keys are secrets passed in the environment and should not be shared. Queries are sent to Korean public data services (National Tax Service, KASI, MOLIT, Juso), so the business numbers, addresses and district codes you look up leave your machine. Tools are described as read-only.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Korea Public Data in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Check Korean business registration numbers (사업자등록번호) with the National Tax Service: active / suspended / closed, tax type, closure date. Up to 100 numbers per call. 사업자 상태를 조회합니다. Use before registering a vendor or customer. Needs 10-digit numbers (dashes OK).
