Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint with OAuth sign-in required. The README describes a self-hosted Docker install (Docker Desktop, about 4 GB disk, port 8080 by default) with an account created locally. A connected n8n instance (cloud or self-hosted) is needed for deployment. Free plan uses your own AI model API key; Pro is $29/month.
Before you install
Deploying writes and activates workflows in your n8n, so review generated workflows before deploying. Credentials for the APIs a workflow uses are set up in your n8n. Prompts are sent to the chosen AI model; on Pro they pass through the vendor's model service to Anthropic. Pro is a paid subscription with billing status kept by the vendor.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Gydmation in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Quick start

You need: Docker Desktop, installed and running, and about 4 GB of free disk space.

1. Get the setup file. Click the green Code button above → Download ZIP and unzip it. Or download only docker-compose.yml:

2. Start it. Open a terminal in that folder and run:

3. Open it at http://localhost:8080 and create your account.

The very first start prepares the template library and takes a few minutes. The app is usable meanwhile. Later starts take about a minute.

Your account, conversations and settings live in the gydmation-data Docker volume, so they survive restarts and updates.

Port 8080 already in use?

Run it on another port, for example 3000:

Then open http://localhost:3000. The app only listens on this computer (127.0.0.1), not on your Wi-Fi network.

Gydmation runs on your own machine. Your prompts, workflows and n8n credentials are stored there, not on our servers. To build a workflow, your prompt goes to the AI model you choose: straight from your machine with your own API key, or, on Pro, through our model service to Anthropic, which passes it on without storing it.
