Remote MCP server that lets an assistant check a site's TLS certificate details and its domain registration expiry date.
What you can do
Check a domain's TLS certificate on port 443: trust and name match, issuer, expiry date and days left, lifetime, chain and TLS version
Look up when a domain registration expires via RDAP at the registry for its TLD, resolving subdomains to their registered domain
When to use it
Useful when you want to know whether a site's certificate is valid or close to expiring, or when a domain registration is due for renewal, without opening a browser or running command-line tools.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no sign-in, API keys or environment variables are declared. The server needs outbound network access to the target domains and to RDAP services.
Before you install
The server connects to the domains you name and queries public RDAP registries, so the domains you check are disclosed to those third parties. Described as read-only with no sign-in; no credentials are requested.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.hal-boring-utils%2Fexpiry-watch/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Connects to a domain on port 443 and reports its TLS certificate: whether it is trusted and matches the name, the issuer, the expiry date and days left, the lifetime, the chain and the TLS version.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
