Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server that turns a topic into publish-ready, SEO-optimized articles with matched images.

What you can do
  • Generate publish-ready articles from a topic supplied by the assistant.
  • Produce SEO-optimized written content on demand.
  • Match and attach images to the generated articles.
  • Use a local Ollama instance for the language-model work.
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to draft complete, SEO-oriented articles with images from a short topic prompt, rather than writing copy itself. Suited to content and marketing drafting on a desktop machine that already runs Ollama.
Requirements
Runs as a local stdio process installed from the npm package dead-drop-mcp, on desktop only. Needs a reachable Ollama API, configured via OLLAMA_URL (default Image matching needs an Unsplash access key in UNSPLASH_ACCESS_KEY; without it images are disabled.
Before you install
The server asks for an Unsplash API key (UNSPLASH_ACCESS_KEY) that is stored in configuration. Generated articles are sent to your local Ollama endpoint, and image lookups go to Unsplash, so topics and queries leave the machine. Review generated content for accuracy before publishing.

Installation

  1. Open Dead Drop Content in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Score

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
