Monitor ICTDialer outbound auto-dialer campaigns, and start and stop them when writes are on.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Connects an assistant to an ICTDialer auto-dialer server to list outbound campaigns, check status, read summaries and per-call results, and optionally start…

What you can do
  • List outbound campaigns with their ids and names
  • Check a campaign's live status, such as running or stopped
  • Read campaign totals: answered, failed, human versus machine, optionally scoped to one agent
  • Read per-call results including contact, response, answering-machine detection and DNC, filterable by call status
  • Start or stop campaigns, only when write mode is explicitly enabled
When to use it
Useful when you run outbound calling campaigns on ICTDialer and want an assistant to report on their progress, summarize results, or trigger start and stop from a chat session instead of the web console.
Requirements
Runs locally via npx or a global npm install and needs Node.js 18 or newer. Requires the ICTDialer base URL without the /rest suffix, an API account username and password (ICTDIALER_PASSWORD), and network access to that server. Optional settings: ICTDIALER_MCP_ALLOW_WRITE, ICTDIALER_TIMEOUT_MS and ICTDIALER_TLS_INSECURE.
Before you install
The account password is passed in ICTDIALER_PASSWORD and sent with every API call, so store it carefully. Setting ICTDIALER_MCP_ALLOW_WRITE=true registers start and stop tools; starting a campaign begins live outbound calling and can cost real money, so leave it off unless intended. ICTDIALER_TLS_INSECURE disables certificate verification and should only be used with a self-signed test server.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Ictdialer Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Other MCP clients

Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

README

ictdialer-mcp

A Model Context Protocol server for ICTDialer — the cloud auto-dialer and predictive-dialer platform from ICT Innovations. ICTDialer.com is the hosted edition of ICTContact and runs the same engine, so this server speaks that API.

It lets an AI assistant monitor outbound campaigns — list them, check status, read summaries and per-call results — and, only when you turn writes on, start and stop them.

Install

bash
npx -y ictdialer-mcp # no installnpm install -g ictdialer-mcp

Requires Node.js 18 or newer.

Configure

Tools

Read tools are always available:

ToolWhat it does
ictdialer_list_campaignsList campaigns (id and name)
ictdialer_campaign_statusLive status of a campaign (running, stopped)
ictdialer_campaign_summaryTotals: answered, failed, human vs machine
ictdialer_campaign_resultPer-call results (contact, response, AMD, DNC)

Write tools appear only when ICTDIALER_MCP_ALLOW_WRITE=true:

ToolWhat it does
ictdialer_start_campaignLaunch a campaign — begins live outbound calling
ictdialer_stop_campaignStop a running campaign

Safety

The server is read-only by default. Starting a campaign begins live outbound calling and can cost real money, so ictdialer_start_campaign and ictdialer_stop_campaign are not registered at all unless you set ICTDIALER_MCP_ALLOW_WRITE=true.

How it connects

ICTDialer exposes a form-encoded RPC API at {base}/rest/<Method>. Each call carries the account username and password; the server sends those for you. There is no separate token to provision.
