Reads Spanish electricity bills from the CNMC QR code and explains charges, contracted power and potential savings.

What you can do

A local MCP server that extracts data from the CNMC QR code inside a Spanish electricity bill PDF or image and explains what each field means. Its tools are read_invoice, which returns contract, power, consumption, prices, amounts and monthly averages, explain_concept, which explains a bill concept using your own figures, and list_concepts. It also exposes reference resources such as cnmc://qr-fields, cnmc://glossary, cnmc://contract-types and cnmc://power-method, plus an entender-factura prompt. Calculations are left to the agent using the power-method recipe.

When to use it

Useful when you want an assistant to interpret a Spanish electricity bill, show what you are paying, and estimate whether lowering contracted power would save money. It fits bills issued from 2023 onward that carry the CNMC QR code.

Requirements

Runs locally over stdio via npx factura-luz-mcp and requires Node.js 20 or higher. No accounts, API keys, environment variables or headers are declared. It reads a file path, a decoded CNMC QR URL, or a previously returned invoice object.
