Overview

AI-generated overview

Apify-hosted MCP server that lets an assistant search a large index of Shopify stores and return lead details like contacts, apps and themes.

What you can do
  • Search Shopify stores by country, installed app (present or absent), theme, brand, or recent index additions
  • Run the Shopify Store Leads Actor with filter settings and read back the resulting leads
  • Retrieve per-store details: name, URL, location, currency, product count, apps, theme, payment methods, public e-mails and phones, address, social profiles, top brands, price range and popularity rank
  • Look up specific storefronts to see which apps and theme they use
When to use it
Useful for lead generation, market research and prospecting when you need lists of Shopify merchants filtered by country, tech stack, theme or brand, or want to enrich a set of known store domains.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.apify.com with the Shopify Store Leads tool selected. An Apify account is required; authenticate via OAuth sign-in or an Apify API token sent as an Authorization Bearer header. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Usage is billed per lead by Apify to your account: the first 25 leads are free, then about $5.50 per 1,000 leads (less on the Gold plan). The Authorization header carries an Apify API token, which should be kept secret. Results include publicly published contact details and social profiles, so handle them in line with privacy and anti-spam rules. Data comes from public storefront pages and third-party sources such as the Chrome UX Report and Tranco.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Shopify Store Leads in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.insanedevhq%2Fshopify-store-leads/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Shopify Store Leads MCP server

This server gives your AI assistant a searchable list of Shopify stores. The October 2026 index has 644,547 stores, and every store in a result is checked live on its storefront. You can ask for stores in a country, stores that run an app such as Klaviyo, Recharge or Yotpo (or don't run it), stores with a given theme, stores that sell a brand, or stores that joined the index in the last 30 days.

Each lead has the store's name and URL, country, city, currency, product count, installed apps, theme, payment methods, public e-mails and phone numbers, street address, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other profiles, top brands, price range, and a popularity rank from the Chrome UX Report.

  • MCP URL: https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=insanedev/shopify-store-list
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP. Sign in with Apify (OAuth) or send Authorization: Bearer <Apify API token>.
  • Tool: the Shopify Store Leads Actor. The assistant fills in its filters, runs it and reads the leads back.

Example prompts

  • "Find 50 US Shopify stores that use Klaviyo but not Attentive and have a public e-mail."
  • "List coffee shops on Shopify in Germany with more than 100 products, most visited first."
  • "Which of these stores run Recharge, and what theme do they use? store-one.com, store-two.com, ..."
  • "Show me UK skincare stores that were added to the index in the last 30 days."

Price

Pay per lead, billed by Apify to your account. The first 25 leads are free on every Apify account, then $5.50 per 1,000 leads ($4.50 on the Gold plan). Stores whose site couldn't be read cost nothing, and with Only new leads on (the default) you never pay twice for a store your account already received.

Data

Store data comes from public storefront pages: what a shop publishes on its homepage, contact and policy pages, and its product catalogue. Popularity comes from the public Chrome UX Report and Tranco lists.
