12 rules read your CHANGELOG.md the way Directive (EU) 2024/2853 will read it from 2026-12-09: undat
Overview
Local MCP server that lints a project's CHANGELOG.md against 12 rules modelled on EU Directive 2024/2853 product liability expectations.
- What you can do
- Lint a CHANGELOG.md file against 12 rules modelled on how Directive (EU) 2024/2853 is expected to read changelogs from 2026-12-09.
- Flag changelog entries that the rules consider undated or otherwise non-compliant.
- No individual tools are listed in the manifest, so the exact operations are not documented.
- When to use it
- Useful when you maintain a CHANGELOG.md for a product sold or distributed in the EU and want an automated check of how entries are dated and recorded ahead of the 2026-12-09 directive date.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local stdio process on the user's machine, launched with npx from the npm package @readystack/pld-liability-window-lint; Node.js and npx are needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. Desktop only.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Pld Liability Window Lint in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Score
40% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
- Tools listed15 pts
Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
