Overview

AI-generated overview

Extracts every URL a site publishes in its sitemaps, with lastmod, changefreq, priority and hreflang data.

What you can do
Reads robots.txt and common sitemap paths to find a site's sitemaps, follows sitemap indexes to any depth, and parses XML urlsets, gzipped files, plain-text sitemaps and malformed XML. Returns one dataset row per URL with loc, lastmod, changefreq, priority, hreflang alternates, image counts and the source sitemap. Optional include/exclude globs, lastmod date filtering and status checks narrow the output; a bad sitemap becomes a free error row instead of failing the run.
When to use it
Useful for SEO audits and content inventories, finding pages changed since a date, seeding a crawler or RAG pipeline with a site's real URL list, or monitoring a competitor's new product pages. It suits agents that need a clean URL list from one call rather than a full crawl.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint at mcp.apify.com; no local runtime. Requires an Apify account, either via OAuth sign-in or an Apify API token passed as the Authorization header. Runs are billed to that Apify account.
Before you install
The Authorization header carries an Apify API token, which is a billable credential; keep it secret. Runs cost $0.30 per 1,000 URLs, so raising maxUrls increases spend. It only reads published sitemaps and does not crawl pages, and some sites block non-browser clients, returning error rows.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Sitemap Extractor (reliable) in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.jordan-belfort-ai%2Fsitemap-extractor/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
