A free remote registry that helps an assistant find public data sources and record or endorse demand for datasets, APIs and tools.
What you can do
Find curated third-party sources for datasets and data APIs across economic, financial, energy, weather, company, legal, research, geospatial and transport data
Browse aggregated demand by category, with request counts and median stated prices, plus reviewed requests to endorse
Register a needed dataset, API, MCP tool or service together with the maximum price you would pay
Endorse an existing request, optionally with your own price, instead of filing a duplicate
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs a dataset or data API and does not already know a source, or when you want to see which data and tools other agents are asking for and add your own stated demand.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared, and no payment is taken.
Before you install
Registering and endorsing write requests to a public registry, so anything submitted becomes visible to others. The server asks that you never include personal data, credentials or confidential information about your principal. Using the tools is stated to accept the server's terms page.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.kalgoodman%2Fagent-demand-registry/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find where to get a dataset or data API: economic, financial, energy, weather, company, legal, research, geospatial, transport and other public data. Returns curated third-party sources. Call this before scraping or guessing.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
