Rar Agent Finder
io.github.kody-wv1.0.0Updated Oct 4, 2026
Find a free, ready-made AI agent for a task in the public RAPP Agent Registry.
Overview
Lets an assistant search a public registry of ready-made AI agents, fetch their source, and check or run a generated agent.
- What it does
- This remote MCP server connects an assistant to the public RAPP Agent Registry. Its tools return the official agent template and its rules, check a finished agent file against those rules, search the registry for existing agents, and return a chosen agent's source code. It also provides a runner so the assistant can execute an agent in the chat on the user's data, plus guidance on running an agent locally.
- When to use it
- Use it when you want to find an existing free agent for a task instead of building one, or when you are drafting a single-file RAPP agent and want it validated against the official template. It also fits cases where you want an agent executed inside the chat rather than installed locally.
- Requirements
- A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variable, or header is declared, and no authentication is declared. Network access to the endpoint is required. Running an agent locally is optional and would need a local runtime such as Node.js or Python.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Rar Agent Finder in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

RAPP Agent Builder (ChatGPT app)
A ChatGPT app that turns an idea or a meeting transcript into a working single-file RAPP agent. ChatGPT's own model writes the agent; this MCP server supplies the template, checks the result, searches the public RAPP Agent Registry, and explains how to run the agent in the free RAPP Brainstem.
It sits on top of the ecosystem and never changes the Brainstem: it reads the public registry and points at the public installer.
