Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that lets an assistant search a product catalog and read individual product listings with prices, pictures and purchase links.

What you can do
  • Search the catalog by query and get matching products with title, short and long description, pictures, price, any offer, and a purchase page URL
  • Read a single product by its id to get the longer description, pictures, price and purchase link
  • Interpret empty results: an empty product list means nothing matched, and a catalog size of zero means the catalog is still loading
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to look up products, compare prices or point a user to a page where an item can be bought, without building its own catalog integration.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package, account or API key is needed for this catalog server. Network access to the provider's host is required.
Before you install
The catalog is read-only and free, but the same provider's other servers in its README are paid and use an X-API-Key header with credit purchases; do not send that key to the catalog endpoint. Product data, prices and links come from a third party and may be incomplete or stale, and a zero catalog size means results are not yet loaded.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Product catalog in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.ladanyin%2Fproduct-catalog/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
