When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to audit a site's AI search readiness, diagnose why AI crawlers are blocked or see little content, or check structured data, sitemaps and metadata without opening separate tools.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no API key or account. Stdio-only clients need a bridge such as mcp-remote via npx. Network access to the endpoint and to the URLs being checked; PageSpeed results come from Google PageSpeed Insights.
Before you install
submit_indexnow can send up to 100 URLs to api.indexnow.org when action is set to submit, but only after the key file verifies. Requests to your URLs are fetched by a third-party service identifying as GetBotRankBot, and results may be cached for 24 hours. Calls are rate limited per IP (20 per 15 minutes).

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open GetBotRank Free AI Search Tools in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

GetBotRank Free AI Search Tools (MCP)

A free, remote Model Context Protocol server that runs GetBotRank's AI search visibility checks from any MCP client. No API key, no account, and no language model behind the scores: every result comes from fixed rules or a public data source.

Every response follows one shape: { score?, summary, checks: [{ id, status, message, fix }], data, report_url }. Each failing check includes a concrete fix, and report_url links to the matching tool on getbotrank.com.

Limits and behavior

  • Calls are rate limited per IP (20 per 15 minutes, shared with the web tools). Some results are cached for 24 hours.
  • Requests to user-supplied URLs go through an SSRF-guarded fetcher that refuses private and internal addresses. Fetches identify as GetBotRankBot (see getbotrank.com/bot).
  • submit_indexnow never submits for a domain whose key file does not verify.
