Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that optimizes, analyzes, compares and token-counts prompts so an assistant can tighten wording and cut token use.

What you can do
  • Optimize a prompt by stripping filler words and compressing verbosity, with reported token savings
  • Analyze a prompt for clarity score, filler patterns, ambiguity and improvement suggestions
  • Estimate token counts for a single prompt or a batch of texts
  • Compare two prompts and pick a winner by clarity score and token delta
  • Check the API health endpoint
When to use it
Useful when you want to shorten or clean up prompts before sending them to a model, compare two prompt drafts objectively, or check how many tokens a text will cost. It is a small utility service rather than a general-purpose assistant.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access to the hosted service is required.
Before you install
Prompts you submit are sent to a third-party hosted service, so avoid including secrets or confidential text. The service is a small hosted API with no declared authentication, so availability and data handling are outside your control.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Ai Prompt Optimizer in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.lazymac2x%2Fai-prompt-optimizer/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
