The Button Wall

Rent a clickable button on a million-pixel wall: find free space, get a quote, create a checkout.
The publisher's own server: Wall Marketing
Overview
Local MCP server for The Button Wall that lets an assistant check wall availability, quote a button, find free spots and create a Stripe checkout link.
- What you can do
- Check wall status: percentage claimed, live buttons, pricing and rules, and find free positions for a given size, nearest to a point first. Quote a spot: price for a size and plan, plus whether a position is free. Create a checkout link: generate a Stripe checkout link for a new button, which the buyer opens and pays themselves.
- When to use it
- Use it when you want an assistant to explore The Button Wall, compare pricing for a button size and term, locate free space, or prepare a checkout link for a human to pay. It suits planning and quoting rather than automated purchasing.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process via npx (Node.js) with the npm package buttonwall-mcp, configured in an MCP client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared; it uses the same public read-only endpoints as the site and needs network access.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open The Button Wall in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
README
buttonwall-mcp
MCP server for The Button Wall: a 1000×1000 px wall where every rented area is a real, clickable button.
Lets an AI assistant check how full the wall is, quote a button, find free space and create a Stripe checkout link. The agent never pays: the buyer opens the link and pays on Stripe, and every button is reviewed by a person before it goes live (full refund if rejected).
Tools
Install
Claude Desktop / Claude Code / Cursor (mcpServers config):
Claude Code: claude mcp add buttonwall -- npx -y buttonwall-mcp

Example prompts
- "How full is The Button Wall right now?"
- "Find me a free 120×40 spot near the centre and tell me what 6 months costs."

Score
50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
