Overview

Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open KiVio Creator in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

README
@kiviocreatorsmcp/mcp-creator
MCP server for the KiVio creator surface. Drive your KiVio Studio from Claude Code (or any Model Context Protocol client): upload videos, manage series, respond to commission requests, see earnings, request admin deletion.
KiVio is an ad-free short-form AI-cartoon platform for kids. Creators earn direct coins from paying parents (70/30 split, no ad lottery). This package lets you drive the creator half of the economy from your terminal / AI coding environment instead of the web dashboard.
Install
Verify:
Link your creator account
-
Open https://kidsaivideo.com/creator/dashboard and sign in.
-
Scroll to Link external tools, click Generate link code.
-
Copy the code (looks like
MCP-ABC-234-DEF, valid 10 minutes). -
In your terminal:
Expected output:
The token is a 90-day KiVio creator session. Rotate anytime via
kivio-mcp unlink + mint a new code in Studio.
Wire into Claude Code
Add to ~/.claude/mcp.json (or your project's .mcp.json):
Restart Claude Code. In any session you can now say:
"Upload the mp4 at ~/renders/ep3.mp4 as episode 3 of my Rocket Baker series, title 'The Rising Dough'."
Claude will call kivio.upload_video and the moderation pipeline
starts. Status rolls into kivio.list_videos within seconds.

Security
- Token stored at
~/.kivio/token.jsonwith mode0600. - Each tool call authenticates with the stored bearer token.
- The web Studio Link external tools panel shows the mint timestamp of every active token; revoke there if a device is lost.
- Contact info (email, phone, URLs, social handles, messenger app names) is scrubbed server-side from every DM reply before it's stored, regardless of which tool wrote the message.
License
UNLICENSED. Use only with a KiVio creator account.

Score
40% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
- Tools listed15 pts
Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
