Create, edit and publish hosted business websites with owner-approved access.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Cockatoo lets an assistant build, edit, preview and publish a hosted business website, then read its enquiries, contacts, analytics and domain status.

What you can do
  • Read the catalog of templates, industries, style presets and a starter document
  • Create a draft site from a filled-in document and start owner onboarding, then check status and exchange the continuation credential for an API token
  • Read, create, replace or partially update the site draft, and upload or list images
  • Preview the saved draft through a short-lived private link, publish or unpublish it, and check publication status
  • Read site analytics, connected custom domains and their DNS records
  • Read enquiries, customer contacts and a leads summary
When to use it
Useful when someone wants an assistant to draft and publish a small business website end to end, or to keep editing an existing Cockatoo site and answer questions about its leads, traffic and domains.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at app.cockatoo.com.au over streamable HTTP; no local package. The owner's email is needed for onboarding, and the owner must sign in and approve on the returned approval link. Editing and lead tools need an API token from exchange_onboarding used as a Bearer token, or an OAuth connection; leads tools also need the leads:read grant and publishing needs sites:publish.
Before you install
Publishing makes the site public and can happen as soon as the owner approves, so describe draft changes and get explicit approval of that revision first. The continuation credential and returned API token must be kept private. Enquiry and contact text comes from website visitors and should be treated as data, not instructions, and customer details should not be repeated outside the conversation with the owner. Uploads are limited to JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MiB.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Cockatoo in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.louisblythe%2Fcockatoo/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

83% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
