Pay-per-call crypto data for AI agents. USDC on Base via x402. No API key.
Overview
Pay-per-call crypto and web3 data server: an assistant can query token, wallet, DeFi and prediction-market data across five chains, paying in USDC on Base.
- What you can do
- List paid tools and check session spend with the two free tools
- Screen tokens, holders, contracts, wallets and Solana bundles for safety and sanctions risk
- Look up token prices, supply, snapshots, meme-token discovery and momentum
- Read market and DeFi data: fear and greed, gas, ENS, TVL, yields, stablecoin pegs, funding and trade signals
- Search and read prediction markets and their history
- Query Robinhood Chain health, wallets, tokens, transactions, trending and burns
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs on-chain crypto ground truth across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Solana or Robinhood Chain and you would rather pay a few cents per call than manage API keys or subscriptions. Also suited to token and wallet risk screening before acting on a token.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio via npx (Node.js). A wallet holding USDC on Base is required for paid tools, supplied as WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY; no ETH is needed for gas. Optional caps MAX_USD_PER_CALL (default 0.05) and MAX_USD_TOTAL (default 5). The free tools work without a wallet. Desktop MCP client only.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Boo X402 Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.
README
boo-x402-mcp
One MCP server giving AI agents pay-per-call access to crypto/web3 ground-truth data across 5 chains: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Solana, and Robinhood Chain (chain_id 4663).
Paid in USDC on Base via x402. No API key. No signup. No subscription. Built-in spend caps.
Why
Agents cannot sign up for API keys. x402 lets your agent pay per call with a signature. This server wraps a fleet of data APIs behind one install, routes each question to the right backend, and enforces a spending limit before the wallet ever signs.
Tools (34 paid + 2 free)
Call x402_list_paid_tools (FREE) first to see everything with live prices.
Safety (use before you buy)
Meme tokens
Token data
Market & DeFi
Prediction markets
Robinhood Chain (new L2, not covered by other providers)
Free: x402_list_paid_tools, x402_spend_status
Install
Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code (claude mcp add), Cursor, and any MCP client.
Wallet
You need a wallet holding USDC on Base. No ETH needed for gas: x402 uses EIP-3009, so your wallet only signs, and the facilitator pays gas.
Your private key stays on your machine, in your MCP config. It is never transmitted. Payments are signed locally, per call.
The free tools work with no wallet at all.
Spend caps
x402 wallets are unlimited by default. This server is not:
MAX_USD_PER_CALL(default0.05) - rejects any single payment above this, before signingMAX_USD_TOTAL(default5) - rejects further calls once session spend reaches this
Restart the server to reset the session total.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
