Lets an assistant search curated Amazon host/hostess gift ideas and turn them into shareable wishlists with owner and shopper links.
What you can do
Check server health and list supported Amazon marketplaces
Search Amazon for hostess and dinner-party gifts, or browse a paginated curated gift catalog
Resolve an ASIN, pasted Amazon product URL or keywords into a buy link
Create a gift wishlist, add items to it, and fetch it by id
Create and fill a curated wishlist in one call and return a share link
When to use it
Useful when someone wants host or hostess gift ideas, a dinner-party present list, or a quick shareable wishlist for a Swedish or US Amazon storefront. It is a narrow, gift-specific helper rather than a general shopping tool.
Requirements
Remote endpoint, no installation or credentials declared. The assistant should pass a marketplace and locale on search, catalog and resolve calls, and keep the editToken returned by wishlist creation to add items later.
Before you install
Wishlists are created on a third-party service and shareable links expose their contents; the editToken returned at creation is needed to modify a wishlist, so treat it as a secret. Products are curated by the operator, not customer-reviewed, and buy links may carry a tracking tag once enrolled.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.maggat%2Fhost-gifts/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
