Lichess player profiles, games, daily puzzle, top players, and tournaments. By UnClick.
Overview
Read-only Lichess connector that lets an assistant look up chess player profiles, games, the daily puzzle, top players and tournaments.
- What you can do
- Look up a Lichess player profile
- List a player's games
- Fetch the daily puzzle
- List top players
- Look up tournaments
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about Lichess players, recent games, the daily puzzle, leaderboards or tournaments without leaving the chat.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio via npx; the README's install snippet pulls a tarball from a GitHub release URL rather than the published npm package. No account, API key or environment variable is declared. Desktop-only; not runnable in a browser.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Lichess MCP by UnClick in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
