Remote MCP server that runs a free first-pass Canadian retirement projection from numbers the user supplies, plus one what-if comparison.
What you can do
Calculate a first Canadian retirement projection from user-supplied figures for one or two adults, covering employment income, defined-benefit pensions, CPP/QPP, OAS, RRSP/RRIF, TFSA, non-registered investments and cash.
Compare one explicit alternative: retirement age, household spending, or CPP/QPP and OAS start ages, with benefit-age comparisons holding the amount at 65 and residence years fixed.
Return the assumptions, dollar basis and engine provenance so the assistant can restate them.
When to use it
Useful when someone wants a quick, no-account sanity check on whether their Canadian savings cover planned spending, or wants to see the effect of one specific change such as retiring later or starting benefits at a different age. It is a first projection, not a full financial plan or a search for an optimal strategy.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. The person must supply their own figures, and Quebec employment requires explicit confirmation of Quebec payroll contributions. Saved account access uses a separate OAuth endpoint.
Before you install
Results are estimates from fixed inputs, not advice or a promised outcome. GIS, Allowance and refundable benefits such as Ontario GAINS and Trillium are excluded, so shortfalls may look larger; corporations, property, debts, children, LIRA/LIF, extra contributions and cross-province employment are out of scope. The server does not save a private household, and assistants should never ask for account passwords, bank credentials or SINs.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.marcpineault%2Fglacier-planner-calculator/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Use the person’s supplied numbers to calculate whether savings cover spending and compare one explicit alternative: retirement age, household spending, or CPP/QPP and OAS start ages. A benefit-age comparison keeps the supplied amount at 65 and residence years fixed. It is not a search for a better start age. Free, no sign-in. Returns annual results, assumptions, provenance and a portable input artifact; no saved-record lookup or mutation.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
