  • Create, update, duplicate, merge and delete records, notes, lists and reminders
  • Manage hiring pipelines: move stages, add feedback, schedule interviews, handle applications and close job pipelines
  • Match and score candidates against jobs, compare candidates and find similar profiles or jobs
  • Draft outreach, briefs, summaries, interview questions and next-step suggestions, then send messages or enrol people in sequences

When to use it
For recruitment agencies, IT consultancies and staffing firms whose teams already work in Marvin Recruiter and want an AI assistant to search the database, prepare briefs and outreach, and move candidates through pipelines without leaving the chat.
Requirements
A Marvin Recruiter account with a seat in the firm's workspace; no anonymous access or shared key. The hosted endpoint uses Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 sign-in through a browser (Google account). Clients using an mcp.json file need the mcp-remote bridge and Node.js 18 or later. Some tools depend on workspace features or admin roles.
Before you install
The assistant acts with the user's own account permissions, and actions are recorded under the user's name. It can write, delete, merge, send LinkedIn, email or WhatsApp messages, enrol people in sequences, publish jobs and spend enrichment credits; sensitive actions start as a preview and need confirmation. LinkedIn and email features require connected accounts, and recruitment data is sent to the hosted service in France.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Marvin Recruiter in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.marvin-recruiter%2Fmarvin-recruiter/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Marvin Recruiter MCP server

Français

The official remote Model Context Protocol server of Marvin Recruiter, the recruitment software for recruitment agencies, IT consultancies and staffing firms, published by MARVIN SAS (Paris, France).

It gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients access to your firm's recruitment database (candidates, contacts, companies, jobs, hiring processes, missions and timesheets, notes, lists, sequences and history), with the permissions of your own Marvin account.

https://mcp.marvins.ai/mcp

This repository holds the documentation and the server.json published to the official MCP Registry. It contains no server code: the server is a hosted service, operated by Marvin.

Requirements

  • A Marvin Recruiter account, with a seat in your firm's workspace. There is no anonymous access and no shared key: each user connects with their own account.
  • The MCP server is included in every Marvin plan, with no per-request credit. Your AI assistant subscription stays your own.

Connect

The same address works for every firm: your sign-in decides the account, the workspace and the permissions. On first use, your client opens a browser window: sign in to Marvin (the sign-in page uses your Google account; if a Marvin session is already open in the same browser, it is reused) and approve the access.

Claude (web and desktop)

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://mcp.marvins.ai/mcp.

Claude Code

bash
claude mcp add --transport http marvin https://mcp.marvins.ai/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code and choose the server to sign in.

ChatGPT

Settings → Connectors (Apps), add a custom connector with the URL https://mcp.marvins.ai/mcp and the OAuth authentication. Availability of custom connectors depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.

Cursor and other clients that use an mcp.json file

Use the mcp-remote bridge, which handles the OAuth sign-in through your browser (requires Node.js 18 or later):

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "marvin": {      "command": "npx",      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote@latest", "https://mcp.marvins.ai/mcp"]    }  }}

Keep the @latest suffix: older versions of mcp-remote can hang on tool calls.

Any other MCP client

Point the client at https://mcp.marvins.ai/mcp with the Streamable HTTP transport. The server answers unauthenticated requests with 401 and a WWW-Authenticate header that points to its OAuth metadata, so clients that implement MCP authorization discover the sign-in on their own.

Security

  • One sign-in per user (OAuth 2.1). No shared token.
  • Every request is limited to the user's firm and follows Marvin roles: a record from another firm returns nothing, and the assistant cannot do anything the user's account could not do. Actions are recorded under the user's name.
  • Sensitive actions (sending a message, enrolling people in a sequence, publishing a job, deleting or merging records, paid enrichment) start as a preview. They only run after the user confirms, in the client's confirmation form when it has one, or in Marvin.
  • Data is hosted in France.

Tools

Tool names are stable identifiers.
