Mixmax email productivity MCP server for Model Context Protocol hosts

Overview

AI-generated overview

A local MCP server that connects an assistant to Mixmax so it can manage email sequences, send tracked emails and templates, and pull engagement reports.

What you can do
Configure the Mixmax API token and read the current user's profile and account info. List sequences and get sequence details, add recipients (optionally with a delayed start) and remove recipients from a sequence. List drafts, scheduled sends and sent emails, send an email immediately, and recall a scheduled message that has not gone out yet. List email templates (snippets) and send a template to recipients, optionally scheduled. List meeting and scheduling link types. Pull engagement analytics on sequence performance, messages and meetings.
When to use it
Useful when you work in Mixmax for outbound or drip email campaigns and want an assistant to inspect sequences, send or schedule tracked emails and templates, or report on engagement without switching to the Mixmax dashboard.
Requirements
Runs locally via npx, so Node.js 20+ and npm are needed. Requires a Mixmax API token supplied in the MIXMAX_API_TOKEN environment variable, taken from Mixmax dashboard settings. Network access to the Mixmax API. An optional host bridge state file path can be set via MCP_HOST_BRIDGE_STATE.
Before you install
The server holds a Mixmax API token that grants access to your email account; keep it out of shared configs and logs. It can send real emails, add or remove sequence recipients, and schedule sends, so mistakes reach real contacts. Recalling a scheduled message only works before it is sent. Engagement data is read from Mixmax's service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Mixmax in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Other MCP clients

Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

Score

40% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
