Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that checks Japanese public registries (FSA, MOF, EDINET, ISA, gBizINFO) for 1-10 companies and returns sourced evidence.

What you can do
  • List the server's tools with prices, data sources, licensing, daily limits and data freshness
  • Check one or several Japanese registries at once for an organization, returning each registry's status, version date, source, matches and what was not checked
  • Run the same check for 1-10 organizations by corporate number, exact name or registration number, with per-company evidence and a summary of resolved, name-only and ambiguous results
  • Re-fetch a settled paid call's stored result by receipt id when the response was lost
When to use it
Useful when you need sourced, dated evidence about Japanese companies or financial entities from official registers, such as compliance, KYC-style or due-diligence lookups, rather than general web research.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. Calls are paid per use, and results are retained for 30 days after settlement.
Before you install
The check tool is a paid call, so usage incurs cost; results are evidence only and explicitly report what was not checked, so they should not be treated as a complete clearance. Paid results are retrievable by receipt id for 30 days, after which they are gone.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Japan Entity Evidence in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.mk-career-planning%2Fjp-entity-evidence/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

entity_evidence_check

Japan entity evidence: public-record status

For checks spanning several Japanese registries at once: FSA registers, warnings and enforcement case list, MOF asset-freeze list, EDINET filings, ISA support organizations, gBizINFO where connected. Returns each registry's status, version date, source, matches and what was not checked; a domain alone stays unverified. For one registry, use jp-finance, jp-sanctions, jp-edinet or jp-ssw-support-orgs. Stated scope and dates only; no match is not proof none exists. No compliance determination.

get_receipt

Get receipt of a paid call

Re-fetch the stored result of a settled paid call by its receipt_id, for when the response was lost after payment. Free. Unknown or unsettled receipt ids return RECEIPT_NOT_FOUND. Results are kept for 30 days after settlement.

Parametersreceipt_idrequired

entity_evidence_batch

Japan entity evidence: batch of 1-10 companies (paid)

Same check as entity_evidence_check for 1-10 Japanese organizations in one call (by corporate number, exact name or registration number): per company the full evidence with each section's source, retrieval time, version date and what was not checked, plus a summary counting resolved, name-only, ambiguous, not found and unknown, and unavailable sources. Ambiguous names are never resolved by guess. Not charged if no company can be checked. Not a compliance determination.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
