Overview

AI-generated overview

Motioneed turns a public product URL or a one-line prompt into a finished motion launch video (MP4) with the real interface, music and optional narration.

What you can do
  • Create a video from a product URL and/or prompt, with length, aspect ratio, purpose, voice and screenshot options
  • Check a video's status and links, and poll until it is ready or failed
  • Revise a ready video with a note, keeping the earlier cut as a version
  • Turn a public share link on or off for a ready video
  • List the account's 50 newest videos and show plan and remaining credits
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to produce a product launch, demo or ad video without editing tools, for example a 15-second vertical clip from a landing page, or a revised cut after feedback.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at motioneed.com/mcp; nothing to install or render locally. Requires a Motioneed API key sent as an Authorization bearer header, created from a free or paid account. Network access to Motioneed's servers.
Before you install
Each video and each revision spends account credits; check the balance with the account tool. A free account limits videos to 10 seconds and adds the Motioneed logo. Sharing makes a video watchable by anyone with the link without an account. The API key is a secret and should not be exposed.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Motioneed in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect Authorization token credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.motioneed%2Fmotioneed/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Motioneed MCP

Make a product launch video from your AI agent. Give it a URL, get back an MP4 with your real UI, animation, music cut on the beat, and optional voiceover.

"Make a 15-second vertical launch video for https://your-product.com and give me a share link."

Remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP): https://www.motioneed.com/mcp. Nothing to install or render locally: the video is made on Motioneed's servers in a few minutes.

Setup

  1. Get an API key at motioneed.com/developers. A free account gets one (videos up to 10 seconds, with the Motioneed logo). Paid plans: longer videos, no logo.
  2. Add the server.

Claude Code

bash
claude mcp add --transport http motioneed https://www.motioneed.com/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer mk_..."

Any other MCP client: server URL https://www.motioneed.com/mcp, header Authorization: Bearer mk_....
