Generate EAN-13 and Code-128 barcodes locally and return SVG data. No network and no key.
Overview
A local MCP server that generates EAN-13 and Code-128 barcodes and returns them as SVG data.
- What you can do
- Generate EAN-13 barcodes from numeric input and return the result as SVG data. Generate Code-128 barcodes and return the result as SVG data. All generation happens locally, with no network calls and no API key.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs to produce barcode images for labels, packaging mockups, inventory sheets or documents, and you want the work done on your own machine without an external barcode service.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process over stdio, installed from the npm package barcode-mcp, so a Node.js runtime is needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared, and no network access is required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Barcode Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Score
25% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
