Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server that lets an assistant read a Feedly account: profile, subscriptions and stream contents, using a Feedly token.

What you can do
  • Read the Feedly profile of the authenticated account
  • List the feeds and sources the account is subscribed to
  • Fetch the contents of Feedly streams, such as articles and items in a feed or category
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to work with your own Feedly reading list — summarizing subscriptions, pulling articles from a stream, or checking what is in a feed — without leaving the chat.
Requirements
Runs as a local process installed from the npm package feedly-mcp over stdio, so Node.js is needed. A Feedly access token must be supplied through the FEEDLY_TOKEN environment variable and is sent as a Bearer token. Network access to Feedly is required.
Before you install
The server needs a Feedly access token, which grants access to your Feedly account; store it carefully and note that the manifest declares no environment variables even though the description requires FEEDLY_TOKEN. Requests and the token go to Feedly's servers. The listed tools appear read-only, but confirm before relying on that.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Feedly Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Score

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
