Before you install
Requests are throttled to roughly one per second, so bulk lookups are slow. Accounts that are closed or disabled may return degraded or missing data. The listed tools only read public data; no writes or credentials are involved.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Lichess Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.

Keyless. Throttled to ~1 req/s to stay polite to the server. Closed/disabled accounts (e.g. hikaru) degrade gracefully.
