Overview

AI-generated overview

Local MCP server that converts Markdown to HTML and extracts headings, running entirely offline with no API key.

What you can do
  • Convert Markdown documents into HTML.
  • Extract the heading structure from Markdown text.
  • Runs locally as a stdio process, so no network calls are made.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to turn Markdown notes or docs into HTML, or to pull out a document's heading outline, without sending content to an external service.
Requirements
A local Node.js runtime to run the npm package @mrfentmen/markdown-mcp over stdio. No accounts, API keys, environment variables or network access are declared.
Before you install
No credentials, payments or third-party data transfer are indicated; the manifest lists no tools, so verify the actual tool set after installing.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
