Overview

AI-generated overview

A local MCP server that gives an assistant driving, cycling and walking routes plus nearest-road lookups through the public OSRM routing service.

What you can do
Get driving, cycling and walking routes between locations via OSRM routing data. Look up the nearest road or routable point for a given location. No API key is needed for the lookups.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs route planning or distance and travel-time estimates for driving, cycling or walking, or wants to snap a coordinate to the nearest road.
Requirements
Runs as a local process installed from the npm package osrm-mcp over stdio. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. Network access is needed to reach the OSRM service.
Before you install
Route queries are sent to the external OSRM service, so the locations you look up leave your machine. No credentials are requested, and no write, send or delete actions are described.

Score

25% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

  • Reached in the last 30 days25 pts

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

  • Auth declared10 pts

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

  • Tools listed15 pts

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
