Use this MCP server to the Pokémon TCG, search cards, sets, rarities via TCGdex. Tools include...
Overview
Local MCP server that lets an assistant search Pokémon TCG cards and sets and read card details from the open TCGdex database.
- What you can do
- Search cards by name and filter by rarity
- Read a full card record: HP, types, abilities, attacks, weakness and market prices
- List all sets, newest first
- Read a single set together with its full card list
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to look up Pokémon cards, compare card details or prices, or browse sets and their contents while chatting, without leaving the conversation.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local stdio process installed from the npm package pokemon-tcg-mcp; the README's run steps build it with npm and start it with Node.js. No API key or account is needed, but it relies on the TCGdex database over the network.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Pokemon Tcg Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients
Follow the launch instructions in the repository.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.

Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
