Book real hotel and resort stays from any AI agent: all-in pricing, hosted Stripe checkout, no key.
Overview
Remote MCP server that lets an assistant search hotel and resort stays, get live dated quotes, and start a real booking paid on a hosted Stripe checkout.
- What you can do
- Search hotel and resort inventory by natural-language query, dates and guests, with indicative pricing
- Read full property details: rooms, amenities, location, policies
- Get a live dated quote with the selected rate's total and terms, including transfer inclusion
- Prebook a quoted rate with the supplier to lock it before payment
- Start a booking and return a hosted Stripe checkout link for the traveler to pay
- When to use it
- Useful when someone wants an AI assistant to research and book real hotel or resort stays end to end, from destination search through a dated quote to a payable checkout link, without leaving the chat.
- Requirements
- Nothing to install: it is a hosted remote endpoint added as an HTTP MCP server in the client. No account, API key, environment variable or header is needed. Network access to the endpoint is required, and the traveler completes payment in a browser on the hosted checkout page.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Tellandgo Mcp in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/io.github.mzahir%2Ftellandgo-mcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Book real travel from any AI agent
No account · No API key · Same prices as our site · Payment on a hosted Stripe checkout your agent never touches
Tell & Go runs a public Model Context Protocol server. Connect any AI agent — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Hermes, OpenClaw, or your own — and it can search live resort inventory, get exact live dated quotes, and start a real booking that completes on our secure checkout page.
[!IMPORTANT] This repository is documentation only. The server is hosted at
https://mcp.tellandgo.com/mcp— there is nothing to install or run.
Connect in 30 seconds
One endpoint works in every MCP client:
Cursor / VS Code / Gemini CLI — add to your MCP config
(~/.cursor/mcp.json, VS Code MCP settings, etc.):

Why this exists
Booking.com and Expedia built AI agents inside their own apps. We did the opposite: we opened our travel agency as a public MCP that works in every agent — before the big OTAs did.
Tools
Typical flow: search_stays → get_stay_details → get_quote → prebook_stay → start_booking
Example JSON-RPC calls
The MCP transport speaks JSON-RPC 2.0 over streamable-HTTP.

Search for stays
Follow up with get_quote for an exact dated total, then prebook_stay to
lock the rate, then start_booking to receive the hosted checkout link the
traveler completes.
Try it with curl
What it can book
Curated, verified-bookable hotel & resort stays. The live set of destinations grows all the time — see the current coverage at tellandgo.com/en/destinations.
Each new market simply grows the catalog behind the same endpoint — your agent doesn't need to change anything.
Pricing
Free to connect. No account, no API key, no cost. Prices shown by the tools follow the same live rate and checkout flow as tellandgo.com. Check each quoted rate's meal plan, transfer inclusion, taxes, cancellation terms, and total before presenting it to the traveler. We never add a special markup for agent users.
[!NOTE] Fair use: ~60 requests/minute per IP, a tighter budget on search/quote/booking, and a global ceiling. Excess traffic gets
429+Retry-After. Building a product on this? Reach out for higher throughput.
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no API key, no cost to connect. Are the prices the same as the website?
The live quoted rate is the source of truth. Transfer inclusion and meal plans depend on the selected rate. How does payment work?
start_booking returns a hosted Stripe checkout link on
tellandgo.com. The agent never touches card data; the traveler completes payment
securely.
Is it safe?
Search and quote are read-only. Booking only produces a checkout link you choose to complete — the MCP cannot charge anyone on its own. Tool annotations (readOnlyHint, openWorldHint) are set honestly.
Which MCP spec version?
2025-06-18. The server also answers 2024-11-05 for
older clients.

50% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 daysRequired25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.

Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.
