When to use it
Useful for lightweight, playful opinion queries about famous US politicians, such as best president or who would win a fight, and for seeing which names the model chooses from. It is a demo of a decision model, not a source of factual political information.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no installation, account, API key or environment variables are needed. The server itself relies on Vercel AI Gateway auth via an OIDC token, and requests are subject to a rate limit of 20 per minute.
Before you install
Answers are explicitly opinion, not fact, and questions about abuse or private traits are filtered by guardrails. Questions are stored in a shared 30-day answer store, so avoid sending anything sensitive. The same rate limit applies as on the public site.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Politicians by Jev in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

An open-source demo of Jev, TypeSafe AI's decision model, on Vercel AI Gateway. America's 100 most famous politicians sit in a physics pile. Ask a question and Jev scores every one of them (100 yes/no calls, under a second); the top pick floats out, runners-up follow, and everyone who missed turns gray.

Jev, TypeSafe AI’s decision model, scores all 100 and returns its top pick, the runners-up, and how sure it is. Opinion, not fact.
